In hopes that they might someday make their way to Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and because I was having a lot of fun playing Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, I created this Yooka-Laylee clay figure, and put an amiibo NFC sticker in the base.
I still wasn't using wire, but Yooka's body is so thin that it stood on its own with the tail for balance. I hot glued on the head and Laylee (fired separately) and then hot glued them to the base.
This one has been dropped a couple of times and needed repair, but I have been surprised by how well it has held together all things considered.
