Beautiful British Columbia

My dad and I drove up the Sunshine Coast to see my grandparents last Thursday and Friday. It was a short trip, but a good one. Here are some shots.
Vancouver from the hotel on Wednesday night. ... and Thursday morning. Ferries Here we all are thanks to my little bendy-leg tripod. A bit of coastline in Powell River Powell River is so close to the north pole that the ocean is sloped. Dad catching some Z's

  2. Nope, magneto-gravitational flux from all that matter falling into the black hole at the edge of the earth. Don't go too near it or the ice dragons will get ya.

    Silly, everybody knows trees grow straight up and down.

  3. Why does B.C. remind me so much of Seattle? Oh, that would be the overcast sky, ocean, ferries, etc. ;)

    Seeing pictures of your dad reminds me of how great it was to live so close to your family growing up. Now we are turning into some kind of diaspora...
