Elizabeth and I drove 500 miles to Idaho for a family reunion on the weekend of 4th of July, or in my case it was more like a family union, since some of them I had met the day before the wedding, and many more were entirely new to me. There's no time to get to know anyone the day before your wedding anyway, so it was good to have a few days to just hang out.
We went white water rafting on Saturday. Dave & Kat, Loren & Heather, and Elizabeth & I all made our way into the same raft, and we decided that we would be the pirates. We therefore instigated water fights, and boarded the other three rafts, throwing people overboard and being thrown ourselves. It was quite fun.
